Burger Restaurant Game

In this game you must build burgers according to customers’ specifications. The longer you take, the more impatient they get and the less money you make - I think. I find this game both addictive and annoying. It seems like you just can’t move fast enough to make people happy and get everything they want, but it’s still a fun game. As the levels progress, the orders get more and more difficult and different things are added in, like milkshakes.

If you enjoy inflicting pain on yourself this is a good game to do it with. And that’s not a bad thing. You’ll most likely get annoyed that you can’t move fast enough or set things in order as you would like but you’ll still want to keep playing.

So I suppose take all of that for what it’s worth. Just beware that you may want to stop but aren’t able to.

Real Estate Tycoon Game

Real estate tycoon is all about the money. Unfortunately it’s not quite the millionaire game I had in mind. There aren’t any variables to figure out and maximize your profits or anything like that. It’s just a matter of buying low and selling high to pull a profit and ultimately make enough to buy that dream mansion.

When houses first come on the market they are cheap. Buy them then and watch your profits rise. Wait too long to sell and the value will fall. So basically click as soon as you can and sell as soon as you see profits start to fall. There isn’t much else to this game but there is a clock that you can see how long it takes you to reach your dream house.

This is an amusing game but you’ll be done quickly and it doesn’t have a lot of replay value. But if you feel like clicking for five-ten minutes, this game is worth checking out.

Cannon Blaster 2 Game

This is an adventure game where you must launch yourself through the course using cannons to get from place to place. It all comes down to timing or your will fall or otherwise hit an object and die. There really isn’t any strategy to this game other than the five seconds it may take you to figure out how to use a new object.

If you enjoy games that require good timing you’ll probably enjoy this game. The controls are very simple. The spacebar is your action button and controls 75% of everything you’ll be doing. Occasionally you’ll also use to arrow keys to pilot a cannon or balloon. Also very conveniently you don’t need to mouse to click ok to continue or restart a level. That always drives me nuts. You’ll appreciate it when you die, and you’ll probably do that a lot. Fortunately the levels are short so it’s not like you blow the last shot on a three minute level and suddenly you have to start over again.

Overall, this is a fun game and if you have good timing you could end up spending a lot of time playing it.

Gemcraft Game

Well, I'm back to three posts for the week even if this one comes a bit later than I'd like. I've been very busy with another project this week though so I'm pleased with my productivity even if it's not all here.

This is a very fun and addicting game but the instructions are a bit vague to start out with. Some might get frustrated and quit but after you figure out what is going on the game is quite fun.

You must power towers with gems that will shoot down attackers. Each enemy you defeat gives you more energy that you can use to create more gems to power your towers. As time progresses more enemies will attack. If they escape your towers and make it to the end you will lose energy. If your energy drops to zero you lose the battle.

Each level is fun in and of itself but you can follow the storyline as well. As you progress and earn points you can use them to buy upgrades like starting with more energy, more gems, etc. If you’re into playing the storyline there is a save feature so that you don’t have to play hours and hours at a time (unless you want to.)
